Get started on Project Talab in three simple steps:
Free Registration
Sign up to Project Talab at no cost and create your student profile. Verification typically takes a day or two.
Book Your Lesson
Search for verified teachers using filters like subject, language and price. Browse course details, pick a time that works for you, and send your booking request.
Begin Learning
Once your teacher accepts, join your lesson online via a preferred communication tool (e.g. Zoom) and begin your journey.
What Makes Project Talab Different
Behind every lesson is a process built on trust, verification and authenticity.
Every Teacher is Vetted
Every teacher is personally reviewed and approved by our team before they can teach. We verify identity, qualifications, and teaching experience — including formal certificates and traditional Ijazah where applicable. No teacher goes live until they've been individually approved.
Gender-Segregated by Design
Male students are only ever shown male teachers. Female students are only ever shown female teachers. This is built into the platform at the data level — not a setting, not a filter — to honour Islamic principles of modesty and create a comfortable learning environment for everyone.
Your Payment is Protected
Your payment is taken when you book and held securely — your teacher does not receive it until the lesson is confirmed complete by both of you. If a teacher declines or doesn't respond within 24 hours, you're refunded in full, and if they don't show up you're refunded automatically.
Live, Not Recorded
Every lesson is a real, one-on-one connection with your teacher — not a pre-recorded course. You ask questions, you get guidance, you build a relationship. Knowledge is passed down the way it was always meant to be.
